I had been contemplating making a mobile application for quite sometime but I felt completely lost as to how to get started especially without any programming experience. Finally, I found Free the Apps ebook and was super excited at what was available to me. After buying the ebook and following it word for word I was able to release my first app within 6 weeks. After two days of being live in the app store, I was added to the New & Noteworthy category for Heathcare and Fitness apps. First, we read their e-book "How to Make iPhone Apps with no Programming Experience" from end to end. We highly recommend this read for those out there who 'have no clue'

I found the free the apps ebook through a website that I respect very much, and after I thought about the potential of creating apps, I bought the ebook. I admit that I had a little bit of buyer's remorse at first, because the whole app development process is overwhelming! But, I devoured the ebook, and instantly went through several ideas for apps. I settled on an app on a subject i really love, even though it's in a crowded area, because I saw the competition and knew I could do better. I followed the steps laid out in the book exactly, and the more I went, the more excited I got. It is SO easy to make an app using the methods described in the Free the Apps ebook! It is definitely worth the price and more, considering how much you can potentially make!

On November 17, my app, My WDW Tips, was approved by apple, and went live in itunes. You guys are awesome. Your e-book how to make i-phone apps really accelerated my process. I had been planning to do an appsince I got my ipad in May but had blocks and didn't really know the process and so was procrastinating. I saw an article on you guys from an elance e-mail that featured you. I decided to give it a try and ordered your package on 9-21-2010. You were very detailed and knew exactly what to do. I even laughed at the fact of how long you guys said it would take to open up a business bank account. I thought I could do it in 20 minutes. You were right about the time being an hour, lol. The bottom line is just 2 months and 1 week later (apple took 2 weeks to approve my app) my app has been released in the store today. Being an iPhone addict I have over 50 apps on my device. It was only a matter of time before I started thinking of my own apps that could be developed and sold on iTunes. Since I'm not a developer, I needed some direction as to where to start with outsourcing programmers and pitching my idea to Apple. How to Make iPhone Apps With No Programming Experience" walks the reader through the entire process of developing an iPhone app, starting at which type of business to classify yourself as, to how to identify your ideal audience, and including how to outsource the code writing. The authors tell of a few examples of other applications that have been successful, using the same methods as in the book. Also helpful was the chapter on preparing your application for submission. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to break into the iPhone app business but doesn't necessarily want to write the code themselves. This is a great opportunity if you have the proper information.

I'm currently unemployed, which leaves me plenty of time to learn a new skill. I was previously in the banking industry but am seriously considering becoming an iPhone app developer for my next career. I chose this book because the title promised that it would teach me how to make iPhone apps with no programming experience. The instructions in this book are clear and detailed. Since I received a severance package from my last employer, I have committed to use part of that to start my own company. Hiring the right people is essential and this book details the pertinent information on how to locate and hire low cost iPhone app programmers. This book covers everything. I found the chapter on the pros and cons of pricing your app as free or paid to be essential information that can't be found for free on the Internet. The best and most profitable information is never free. This book is definitely worth the price.
